Panini America 2015-16 Court Kings Rookie Preview (35)

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — Later today in northern New Jersey, 39 of the NBA’s top rookies — including Karl-Anthony Towns, D’Angelo Russell, Jahlil Okafor, Kristaps Porzingis and more — will begin three days of activities that will have a most profound impact on Panini America’s 2015-16 NBA trading card season. Indeed, 2015 NBA Rookie Photo Shoot weekend officially tips off this morning with the Rookie Transition Program and Panini America signing sessions that will feature on-card signatures for 2015-16 Court Kings Basketball, 2015-16 Prizm Basketball and 2015-16 Prestige Basketball.

We’ll have complete coverage of today’s signing sessions and tomorrow’s action-packed 2015 NBA Rookie Photo Shoot right here on The Knight’s Lance. You can also follow along on the Panini America Facebook page, Instagram page and Twitter account.

But until today gets underway, we thought we’d bring you a pre-ink peek at some of the 2015-16 Court Kings cards — from the Fresh Ink and Heir Apparent subsets — that are slated to be signed in just a few hours. Enjoy the gallery and check back later when we show you how the cards look after they’re signed.

Those Fresh Paint cards would look great signed with a team color paint marker. Red for Hawks, Purple for Lakers, etc…

I like the look of the cards but the design team messed up on the Rashad Vaughn Fresh Paint. “Paint” should not be colored in red as the Bucks no longer have red in their color scheme.

Is it just me or did I read on card autographs for Prizm Basketball this coming year? That was probably one of the biggest things holding back that product.

I was wondering, is there going to be a college and NBA version of Prizm or is Prizm college this year? The photos of them signing showed them in their college uniforms so I wasn’t sure. Thanks!
