Panini America Offers Breakdown of Recent Mavericks, Wizards NBA Promo Sets

Panini America officials have exposed the finer points of the iconic Donruss brand to fans of the Washington Wizards and Dallas Mavericks in recent weeks with a series of in-arena giveaways featuring exclusive team sets and, in the case of the Wizards, an exclusive St. Patrick’s Day green border. Both promotions tipped off earlier this month, starting with the Mavericks’ March 7 game against the Los Angeles Clippers when fans received the first two cards (J.J. Barea and head coach Rick Carlisle) in a special 10-card set.

The Mavericks distributed Wesley Matthews and Devin Harris during the March 18 game against Golden State and Deron Williams and Zaza Pachulia during the March 20 game vs. Portland. The final four cards in the set will be handed out during the March 30 game against the Knicks (Chandler Parsons and Raymond Felton) and the April 6 game vs. Houston (Dirk Nowitzki and Dwight Powell).

The special green-bordered, seven-card Washington Wizards set was given to fans who attended the team’s 117-96 victory over the Chicago Bulls the day before St. Patrick’s Day. For the record, Wizards superstar — and Panini America exclusive athlete — John Wall recorded a triple-double in that game (29 points, 12 assists, 10 rebounds).
