Panini Unwrapped Special Edition: L.A. Kings Announcers Bob Miller & Jim Fox

March 20, 2011

The Los Angeles Kings skated through Dallas last week for a road game against the Dallas Stars, providing Panini America with a golden opportunity to receive the royal treatment.

At the urging of Panini America hockey acquisitions guru Alex Carbajal, fabled announcers Bob Miller, a Hockey Hall of Famer, and Jim Fox — two men with voices fit for Kings, quite literally — sat down to bust two boxes of 2010-11 Crown Royale Hockey.

The broadcast partners, it should be noted, are featured in Crown Royale’s popular Voices of the Game insert. While they weren’t lucky enough to pull their own cards, they did have poignant commentary regarding the gems they did pull.

To be sure, the resulting video ranks as the most regal, golden-voiced volume of Panini Unwrapped ever produced.
