Memorabilia Used During 2011 NBA Finals Highlights Panini America Father’s Day Set

June 10, 2012

Our continuing series of must-see previews highlighting the key elements of next week’s Panini America Father’s Day promotion takes a decidedly championship twist today.

With the 2012 NBA Finals matchup finally being set — the Miami Heat vs. the Oklahoma City Thunder and Panini America exclusive Kevin Durant — and tipping off on Tuesday, today we thought we’d showcase the unique 2011 NBA Finals insert in the Father’s Day set, a truly historic effort that includes basketballs and nets used during the Dallas Mavericks’ six-game triumph over the Heat last season.

The insert incorporates prime pieces of game-used basketballs that you simply won’t find anywhere else. And the  stunning net cards must be seen to be believed. Take a look below and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for more previews in the coming days.

And if you’ve missed any of our previous Father’s Day previews, you can access them in the links below:

Man!! With these daily droolology galleries…I keep counting down to Father’s Day. I really hope to see that shop on the participating list!! If not, I hope you guys are doing a giveaway cause I won’t be able to get my hands on these any other way. Not unless I go to the bay like I did with Black Friday’s cards.

I can’t wait to see more of these earlier this week. I might miss the galleries later in the week.

These are some sweet pieces of basketball history. Would love to get my hands on a gameball. But a net piece and the look of the card would be even more awesome. Are there signed versions as well?

Being a father is a proud accomplishment. Panini is the father of these beautiful stunning cards so you guys should be proud of your accomplishment!

When is 11/12 Limited basketball releasing? A few weeks ago you posted 6/11 now it looks like 6/27. Which is it? Can we expect Gold Standard to be delayed as well if this is the case? I don’t expect you to release them back to back on 7/4. Confused and getting annoyed with lack of communication…
