Panini America to Unveil Hobby Jumbos for 2013 Prizm Football (Must-See Gallery)

“Bigger and better.” It’s a phrase that gets thrown around quite a bit in this hyper-competitive sports-card industry of ours. Every product strives to be bigger and better than the one that came before it. To be sure, the folks inside Panini America headquarters tasked with developing 2013 Prizm Football are convinced that the 2013 edition will be better than last year’s debut. But this much is guaranteed: It will be bigger — at least one version of it will be.

For the first time ever, Panini America officials will produce a hobby-exclusive Jumbo edition of 2013 Prizm Football that includes three Jumbo-exclusive Prizm parallels, 15-card packs and 10 packs per box.

Every pack will include three Rookie Cards and at least one Jumbo-exclusive Light Blue Pulsar, Die-Cut Light Blue Pulsar (numbered to 15) or Purple Cracked Ice (numbered to 40) parallel. The average Jumbo box will yield four autographs, 10 Jumbo-exclusive Prizm parallels, 12 inserts and 30 RCs.

2013 Prizm Football Hobby Jumbos will release next Wednesday along with their regular hobby counterpart.
