Panini America April 14 Rewards Update Main

Panini America officials are in the process of finalizing the next inventory update for the Panini Rewards website that will go live tomorrow night and include key cards from the likes of Kyrie Irving, Anthony Davis, John Wall, Kelvin Benjamin, Kris Bryant and more. The new inventory additions will be listed late Wednesday evening.

The new update will feature autographed cards from such products as 2014 Crown Royale Football, 2014 Immaculate Football, 2014 Select Football, 2014 Contenders Football, 2014-15 Prestige Basketball, 2014-15 Court Kings Basketball, 2014-15 Gold Standard Basketball and more. In the preview gallery that follows, we offer a sneak peek at just some of the cards launching on the Panini Rewards website tomorrow evening.

Be sure to check the site beginning tomorrow afternoon for updates. Cards added to the Panini Rewards inventory are not held out of products; they’re added to the system as they’re returned to Panini America HQ. Stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for continued coverage of the Panini Rewards system.

collectors don’t want redemption or rewards cards. we want our cards when we pay for them. sorry but it’s true

Something tells me the secondary market on Panini Rewards points just went up…significantly. Let’s hope everyone has some stashed away to use tomorrow! Thanks Tracy!

Hopefully, they’re kept somewhat affordable! They killed me on the raise in points on most all of the cards added last time! Used to be able to get some nice RC Autos like Jordan Mathews, Brandin Cooks, Gorgui Dieng, Jeremy Hill, Ryan Johansen, among others all between 150-400 points. Now a Joe Colborne Score Hot Rookies costs 900?

How do you accumulate points in order to get the cards?

I have to hand it to Panini for putting tons of credibility behind their Rewards program. While we can speculate endlessly about the availability of key cards in the collection, continued support is a unique way for collectors to pool their points and add to their personal collection!

Thank you for updating us on the inventory updates, Tracy and PA.

Why are Jersey patch cards at the Rewards site? Shouldn’t they have been inserted into the products? I can understand if you are waiting on an autograph, but there is nothing to wait on for a memorabilia card.

Some cards in the inventory come from QC case breaks conducted at the end of packout.

Also, based on prior statements about Redemptions vs Points, shouldn’t Kyrie, AD and Kris Bryant been redemption cards, not a points card?

Yes, the goal is to include redemptions for only the biggest names in a given product.

So are there any additional Immaculate Football RPA’s to be added? I love the footbal design

I hope it’s not just me who hasn’t been able to get into the site for awhile now…

Much thanks for the updated inventory. I’m still on the fence about this program. I’m happy I got to scoop up a few cards this morning. However getting points in place of an expected hit (i.e. auto or jersey) is a bummer. 3 times now I’ve received points instead of expected autograph hit. Adding to that, the fact that I have to pay for shipping, doubles the price of the pack. Also when buying a product, (let’s say 2014-15 Prizm NBA for example) and you get reward points, shouldn’t cards from that set be available, since that is what you sought out and payed for? Oh and a QR reader app, but you can’t sign in on mobile device? I like Panini Rewards, but I think it still needs some tweaking.

Appreciate the feedback. We’re still working behind the scenes to improve the overall experience and that process will continue. Cards are added to inventory as they arrive back at Panini America HQ.

Thanks for your response Tracy. Long time reader(Beckett) here. I understand that this is a new concept/program, and Panini has done a great job with the new and old licenses. I just received my 2014-15 Prestige Old School Magic Johnson autograph /15 (through rewards). Such an awesome card. However it is not included on checklists and apears to be a cancelled card. Any other info on this limited card would be much appreciated. Haven’t seen any others since release date. Could others pop up on panini rewards later? Thanks again

Let me see what I can find out about that particular card.

Nice Update, I was able to get quite a few good cards. However, I’m still hoping that Panini will start to post the numbering for the cards that have the numbering on the back. I would also like to see smaller weekly updates, as compared to large updates once a month. Keep up the good work Panini, and hopefully you will continue to take measures to make this program even better.
